The Night of Research is financed by the European Commision at educational institutes throughout Europe. The event aims to present the researcher’s work to the public while awakening the interest of young people in an academic carreer. The sessions allow visitors access to researchers and provide researchers the chance to offer a view of what they do and gain interest in their work.
The Night of Research was held for the fourth time on 10 September 2022 at the University of Bern. Around 10,000 people visited the ‘Fair of Knowledge’, where more than 750 researchers shared their work at over seventy stands. The Institute for Old Catholic Theology participated with the project: ‘The Sound of Prayer’.
